Vaccines are usually given at the annual exam but the visit itself is so much more than just the vaccines! Prevention relates to catching a problem before it escalates. Oftentimes issues such as dental disease, heart murmurs, and obesity just to name a few, aren’t at all preventable with vaccines.
By tending to your pet within the warmth and comfort of their own home, we can effectively tailor wellness and preventative care to their needs. How do we do that?

By definition, chronic conditions refer to any illness that requires long term monitoring, care and treatment. However this takes significant time and energy and can be emotionally draining, and we know how overwhelming it can be for any pet parent. Let us help you to develop a plan to improve the condition, whether it's changes to diet, medications or something as simple as supplements.

Chronic Conditions

Physical therapies are methods to improve muscle tone, coordination, and joint mobility when recovering from injuries or neurological deficits. We can offer techniques such as massage therapy, passive range of motion and therapeutic exercises to name a few. With a little creativity, employment of portable devices, and every-now-and-then some MacGyver-ing, you’d be surprised just how much we can get done in your own living room!

This is where our service really shines! How many times have we as pet parents dealt with the hissing, clawing, and sometimes vanishing acts performed by our dear furry friends on the very mention of a car ride? Our mobile practice completely eliminates this issue, whilst also providing top notch, noise-free and stress-free care.

For those kiddos that still have some “stranger-danger” in spite of their home environment, we practice “Fear Free” principles. We can discuss anxiety meds that you can give prior to the visit, or even offer full sedation if needed.

For anxieties or phobias your Nervous Nellie is exhibiting, proper diagnosis and treatment can improve their quality of life (as well as yours!). In preparation for a behavior counseling visit, it’s helpful if you can video the behavior a few times before your veterinarian’s arrival - just in case they don’t do it while we’re there!

Follow-ups can be scheduled with another in-home visit or with telemedicine to help you troubleshoot pitfalls or backslides, adjust medications or discuss alternative therapies.

Through our in-home quality-of-life exams we can guide you through this dark time. When the time comes, trust that we will do everything in our power to ease your loved one's final journey.
